Johann Sebastian Bach  (1685-1750)  He was born in the city of Eisenach, Saxe-Eisenbach, state of Thuringia, country of Germany.  He was raised in a musical family and his lifetime fame was as an organist and composer of organ music.  Married with four chldren, he earned his living income by serving some of the larger churches as organist and Musical Director. (All in the same general area of Weimar, which is now Germany)  During his lifetime he composed music for a variety of instruments, as well as orchestral and chamber music.  His  most popular work is entitled "The Brandenburg Concertas."
