This home school friendly art course is a serious look at developing your student’s interest and talent in art, without the need of having a parent/teacher with art experience.  The author has even provided transcript information below!   A  list of materials needed to complete the book is in the front,  the media introduced in this book are pencil, using three grades, and both types of charcoal, compressed and vine. So there is nothing real complicated.

An evaluation sheet is included to help parent/ teachers calculate a number and letter grade for each assignment.  Grades are based on how well the student reached the objectives of the specific assignment, and not on skill levels or arbitrary preferences of the teacher.
